SmartJacks Installation near Amlin, OH

A homeowner near the village of Amlin, Ohio, reached out to Mid-State Basement Systems after noticing his home's foundation was pulling away from the rest of the house. We sent our Inspector, Jacob, to the home for a free inspection and quote of service. Jacob confirmed several signs of foundation settlement on the home's interior and exterior, as well as in the crawl space.

To fix it, Jacob recommended our SmartJacks system to stabilize the foundation and potentially reverse the settlement over time. After signing the contract, a date was scheduled for the repairs to be completed.

On that day, our crew arrived and got to work on the SmartJacks installation via the crawl space. They first excavated footers for the SmartJacks, where they then poured concrete. Once it was set, they installed the SmartJacks in place, fastening them to the concrete footer and the steel support beam they installed on the floor joists above. Over time, the SmartJacks can be adjusted to correct and reverse settlement.
