CN Live 2023 Recap!
Last week, our Mid-State Basement Systems team embarked on an exciting journey to Hartford, Connecticut, where we eagerly participated in CN Live 2023! This convention marked the culmination of an entire year of hard work and dedication. It offered us a wealth of invaluable opportunities for networking, learning, and collaboration, ultimately equipping us to better serve our valued customers.
The first day kicked off with a delightful breakfast and a lengthy general session that set the perfect tone for the entire weekend. Distinguished speakers from various departments within Contractor Nation took the stage to shed light on what lay ahead for all the dealers in attendance. Notably, the keynote address was delivered by none other than David Horsager, the CEO of the Trust Edge Leadership Institute. As a bestselling author of "The Trust Edge," the inventor of the Enterprise Trust Index, and a leading figure in trust studies, David's inspiring words left a lasting impact on all of us.
Following the enlightening morning session, we took a well-deserved break for lunch, during which department-specific forums provided us with valuable insights and knowledge. In the evening, the spotlight shone on the industry's top achievers at the Awards Dinner. It was a moment of great pride for Mid-State Basement Systems as we were recognized as the #24 basement systems dealer within the network. The evening was further enriched by captivating performances, including the Brown Brothers from season 17 of "America's Got Talent" and the enchanting married duo, The Evanses, who treated the audience to a magical night.
Day two commenced with an exciting bus ride to Seymour, Connecticut, where we had the privilege of visiting the Contractor Nation Headquarters. Upon arrival, the CNLive staff welcomed us with cheers, and a delicious breakfast bar was set up to fuel our day. The headquarters offered engaging campus tours and a diverse range of exceptional classes tailored to various departments, spanning from marketing to service. After an immersive and eventful day at the headquarters, we eagerly hopped back onto the buses to return to the convention center for a grand celebration.
This year's party took on a thrilling Halloween theme, and it's safe to say that the network went all out to create a memorable experience. Attendees donned fantastic costumes, enjoyed delicious food, and created lasting memories together. We are profoundly grateful to be part of a network that continually provides us with opportunities to learn, grow, and ultimately become the best company we can be for our cherished customers.
