Holiday Donation Drive to Sleep in Heavenly Peace

Every year during the holidays, Mid-State Basement Systems pays it forward to our community through a donation drive or other volunteer activity with a local non-profit. This year, our team came together to help children in need by donating over 50 brand-new bedding items, including pillows, blankets, sheet sets, comforters, and, of course, stuffed animals!

We delivered the donations to the Hilliard chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a local non-profit that builds children's beds in homes where they are urgently needed. Through Sleep in Heavenly Peace, we learned that as many as 7,023 kids in Franklin county alone do not have a bed to sleep in at night. That means 7,023 kids who, every night, sleep on the floor, on the couch, in a chair, or anywhere except in a comfortable bed. 

We are deeply inspired by the work of our friends and volunteers at Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Their mission is one of critical importance, and we are grateful for the opportunity to help ensure that every child in our community has a safe and comfortable place to sleep every night!
