Finished Basement Demolition
After discovering water seeping in behind the walls, the finished basement unfortunately needed to be ripped out and replaced.
Vapor barrier and static beam installation
The foundation walls were bowing, allowing water to seep in through the cracks. We installed static beams around the entire foundation perimeter to stabilize the walls. The vapor barrier seals moisture out of the basement, ensuring it drains into the French drain system.
Installing the French drain
After installing the drainage pipe in the trench, the crew backfills the trench with gravel to help disperse water.
Sump pump system
Our crew upgraded the basement sump pump to our TripleSafe system, ensuring water is properly pumped out of the basement and away from the home to prevent leaks and floods.
Finished installation shot
With everything in place, the crew re-concretes the floor around the basement perimeter. The basement can now safely be re-finished without the risk of water damage.
