Waterproofing a Finished Basement in Tiffin, OH
Challenge
A homeowner in Tiffin, Ohio, had a partially finished basement with a water leak behind the drywall and tile. There was also moisture entering the basement in the unfinished areas as well. Since wet drywall is a mold magnet, the drywall needed to be removed and replaced. The entire basement perimeter needed to be waterproofed as well.
Solution
Our Sales Inspector, Charlie, recommended a full-perimeter basement waterproofing with our WaterGuard drainage system in addition to a new TripleSafe sump pump and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifer. Our expert crew was able to complete the job start-to-finish, including tearing out the ruined drywall, waterproofing the basement perimeter, and re-finishing the walls and floors.
