Challenge

A homeowner contacted Mid-State Basement Systems with concerns about high humidity, dampness, and wall leaks in their basement.

Solution

Our crew installed the following system to address the homeowner's concerns:

> WaterGuard basement waterproofing system to address leaks and potential flooding,
> CleanSpace wall vapor barrier to reduce humidity and dampness, and
> TripleSafe sump pump to pump excess water out of the basement and away from the home's foundation.

The crew digs a trench in the basement interior to install the WaterGuard system.

The drainage system catches wall leaks and moisture behind the CleanSpace vapor barrier.

Once installed, the crew re-concretes the floor, leaving a small gap between the floor and the wall to allow moisture to drain into the system and out via the sump pump.
