Waterproofing a Partially-Finished Basement in Chillicothe, OH

Challenge

We were contracted by the homeowner to waterproof their partially finished basement. This would involve removing some of the drywall to install the subfloor drainage system and repair a few leaking wall cracks.

Solution

Our crew installed our WaterGuard subfloor drainage system with a TripleSafe sump pump to drain wall leaks and floodwater. We removed a small 1-foot portion of drywall in the finished portion of the basement to install the drainage system. We also removed a vertical area of drywall to repair a leaking wall crack as well. Now that the basement is waterproofed, the drywall can be safely refinished.
