A homeowner near Lafayette, Ohio, reached out to Mid-State Basement Systems with concerns about water entering his basement. We sent our inspector, Phil, to the home to have a look. He confirmed that water was seeping into the basement via several small cracks in the foundation wall. He recommended our FlexiSpan system to seal the cracks and prevent water from entering the basement. We then sent a crew to the home to install the system. They begin by filling the cracks with a polyurethane polymer sealant that penetrates the cracks to form a flexible, waterproof seal that resists drying out or re-cracking. The crew also digs a drywell beneath the system to encourage water to drain into the substrate where it can be pumped out via the home's sump system. They finished by installing panels over the FlexiSpan for a seamless finish.
