The Basement Upon Inspection
The basement had been partially finished with wooden paneling. Unfortunately, it was beginning to deteriorate due to the high moisture and humidity levels.
Removing the Paneling & Installing WaterGuard
The crew removed the wood paneling in order to access the perimeter. They dug a trench through the concrete with a jackhammer in order to install the WaterGuard system.
TripleSafe Sump Pump Installation
The crew dug a new sump pit to install our TripleSafe sump pump.
WaterGuard Installation Process
The crew digs a trench around the basement perimeter to install the WaterGuard system. They backfill the trench with gravel and prepare concrete to finish the floors.
Re-Concreting the Floors After Installation
Once WaterGuard is installed, the crew re-concretes the floors. A small gap is left between the wall and the floor to allow wall seepage to drain into the system.
Extending the Sump Pump Drainage Line
The crew extends the sump pump's drainage line underground and away from the home's foundation, preventing soil saturation near the foundation.
