Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Finished Basement Waterproofing in Marion, OH

We were contracted to waterproof a finished basement in Marion, Ohio. Unfortunately, the basement had been finished without a proper waterproofing system, ruining the paint, trim, and drywall. Our crew removed the bottom 1/3rd of drywall, preserving the rest to be restored after the waterproofing system is put in place. The crew then dug a trench around the basement perimeter where they installed the WaterGuard drainage pipe. Finally, the crew updated the old basement sump pump with our TripleSafe sump pump. Drywall Prior to Removal

Unfortunately, the drywall, paint, and trim had been ruined by years of wall leaks and even the occasional flood.

The crew re-concretes the floors. They leave a small gap between the wall and the floor, allowing water to drain into the WaterGuard system.
