Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing a Finished Basement in Zanesville, OH

Installing WaterGuard

The crew removes a small section of drywall and digs a trench around the basement perimeter. In it, they install the WaterGuard drainage pipe and backfill the trench with clean gravel.

Installing the TripleSafe Sump Pump

The crew digs a new sump pit to install the TripleSafe sump pump. The pump drains water from the WaterGuard system as well as water beneath the slab.

Completed Sump Pump Installation

The crew installed a sump pump in the basement to drain out moisture beneath the slab.

Finished Waterproofing

The crew re-concretes the floors after installing WaterGuard. They leave a small gap between the wall and the floor to allow wall leaks to drain into the system. This prevents water from pooling at the baseboards.
