Digging the WaterGuard Trench
The crew begins the installation by digging a trench around the basement perimeter. On this day, heavy rain caused water to seep into the trench while the crew was still digging.
Installing the PowerBrace Beams
We installed these PowerBrace beams in the WaterGuard trench for added stabilization. The drainage system fits in between each beam.
WaterGuard Installation
With the beams in place, the crew installs the WaterGuard drainage pipe and backfills the rest of the trench with clean gravel.

WaterGuard can be cut to size to accomodate for tight corners, appliances, and fireplaces such as this one.
Re-Concreting the Floors
The crew re-concretes the floors over the WaterGuard system to finish. A small gap between the wall and the floor is left to allow wall seepage to drain into the system.
