Digging the Trench for WaterGuard
WaterGuard is a sub-floor drainage system. The crew digs a trench around the basement perimeter with a jackhammer and drills weep holes to encourage water drainage into the WaterGuard system.
Installing the WaterGuard Drainage Pipe
The crew installs the WaterGuard system in the trench and backfills it with clean gravel.
Installing the TripleSafe Sump Pump
The crew dug a new sump pit and installed the TripleSafe sump liner and sump pump. The system integrates with WaterGuard to collect and pump out water captured by the drain.
Re-Concreting the Floors
Once WaterGuard is in place, the crew can re-concrete the floors for a seamless finish. A gap between the wall and the floor is left to allow water to drain into the system.
Extending the Sump Pump Discharge Line
The crew extends the sump pump downspout line away from the home to minimize water accumulation near the home's foundation. Extending it underground also minimizes tripping hazards and unsightly pipes on the lawn.
Refinishing the Sidewalk
After extending the sump pump downspout beneath the ground, the crew refinishes the sidewalk.
