Installing the WaterGuard Drainage Pipe
The crew installs WaterGuard around the basement perimeter to control wall leaks and excess water, draining it out of the basement via the sump pump.
Re-Finishing the Basement Floors
The crew re-concretes the basement floors once the WaterGuard system is installed. A small gap between the floor and the wall is left to allow water seepage to drain into the system and be pumped out of the basement by the sump pump.
Installing the TripleSafe Sump Pump
The crew installed a TripleSafe sump pump. This model contains three pumps in a single sump liner for triple the protection against leaks, floods, and power outages.
Extending the Sump Pump Discharge Line
For additional leak protection, the crew extends the sump pump discharge line away from the home. This prevents water from saturating the soil around the foundation and causing basement leaks and flooding.
