Basement During Inspection
The inspector pulled back the carpet to reveal the extent of the water damage in the basement.
Digging the WaterGuard Trench
The crew digs a trench around the basement perimeter. This allows them to install the WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system.
Re-Finishing the Floors
The crew re-concretes the floors around the basement perimeter. A gap is left between the wall and the floor (behind the drywall) to allow water to drain into the system and out of the basement.
Installing a New Sump Pump
We installed a new sump pump in the basement to pump water out and keep things dry.
