Kim and Jeff H. called Mid-State Basement Systems looking for a long-term solution to moisture and musty smell in their crawl space. After a thorough inspection, our inspector Joe designed a complete encapsulation system to protect and insulate the space.   We installed 2,040 square feet of CleanSpace vapor barrier liner, 1,920 square feet of drainage matting to promote water flow beneath the liner, and 848 square feet of SilverGlo insulation to improve energy efficiency. A SuperSump Plus system and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier were added to manage water and humidity. We also sealed outside air with vent covers to complete the airtight system.   Now, this crawl space is clean, dry, and energy-efficient. This solution will provide comfort and protection for the entire home.
