Patrick D. in Nevada, OH called Mid-State Basement Systems because the church building he owned had several severe issues that needed to be repaired. Some of the concrete blocks on one of the walls had shifted inward more than two inches. We sent out our certified inspector, Steve Davis, to inspect the area and provide a free estimate for repair.
Our crew, led by Byron Salinas, was able to use Geo-Lock Channel Anchors to permanently pull the wall back into its original position. These are galvanized steel anchors with one side embedded in the earth outside the building and the other bolted to the inside of the foundation wall.
The church owner is happy with the results and he knows that the congregation will be safer with these updates and repairs.
The WaterGuard system is installed inside the basement along the perimeter to effectively capture wall and floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor. Water enters the system via inlet holes and flows through the drainage pipe to the sump pump. The UltraSump comes with a back-up battery to ensure your sump pump keeps working even if the power goes out.
We installed a new SuperSump Plus system in this Delaware, OH home! The SuperSump includes a powerful Zoeller ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement.
A before and after look at a basement wall crack repair with CarbonArmor straps. The CarbonArmor System includes flexible carbon fiber fabric straps that are up to 10 times stronger in tension than steel. Using high strength epoxy resin, the carbon fiber straps are bonded to the interior face of the wall. The straps will stabilize the wall.
