The WaterGuard system is installed inside the basement along the perimeter to effectively capture wall and floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor. Water enters the system via inlet holes and flows through the drainage pipe to the sump pump. A before and after look at this basement waterproofing project. Our crew installed a full perimeter drain around the basement, as well as a new sump pump system. After they completed the project with drainage matting and the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. 

This historic German Village home in Columbus, OH had a sagging kitchen addition with a mix of fieldstone and old porch concrete or brick for its foundation. Inspector Ryan recommended a stabilization solution, and Foreman Nate and his crew installed three SmartJack XT posts and a new support beam to lift and support the floor. To protect the space from moisture, they also sealed the ground with CleanSpace vapor barrier.

This customer's historic home in German Village had sagging floors that were immediately lifted by our SmartJack XT system. Our crew was able to install 3 SmartJack XT posts in the basement to support the existing metal support beams and provide immediate and permanent lift and stabilization to the home. 

This homeowner has a walk-in basement that was prone to water entry around the stairs leading down to the basement. We remedied this by installing a trench drain at the base of the basement stairs. Now, any water coming in via the entrance will go into the drain and be pumped out by the basement sump pump system, keeping the basement dry and protected from floods!
