We found a crawl space in Logan, Ohio that was constantly under water. The two sump pumps were running non-stop to keep groundwater from pooling up underneath the home. We sent our crew out to encapsulate the crawl space and prevent all this moisture from creating big problems for the home. We also extended the downspouts of the home to guide groundwater away from the foundation and crawl space.
This tiny crawl space was dirty, damp, and full of old and moldy insulation. Our team came to the rescue to safely remove the insulation and install our CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system. CleanSpace isolates the crawl space from the ground, creating a barrier that seals out moisture, dirt, and pests.
We also installed our TripleSafe sump pump system to collect any water from beneath the liner and properly pump it out of the crawl space.
Foreman Miguel Martinez and the Mid-State crew fully encapsulated this crawlspace using CleanSpace vapor barrier. This super-durable, 20mil plastic sheet material is designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air, and pests from getting into your crawl space.
Even crawl spaces with awkward nooks and crannies can be fully encapsulated with our CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system! Now, instead of a leaky, musty crawl space, this homeowner has a bright, clean, and dry area perfect for storage.
A homeowner in Gambier, OH called Mid-State Basement Systems because he had a cellar that was always wet, had a sagging ceiling, and had crumbling foundation walls. Our certified inspector, John Tongol, inspected the cellar and proposed a total solution to repair the walls and get rid of the water. The homeowner agreed to have this work completed and our crew, led by foreman Valentin Rosales, came out to install the products. They installed SmartJacks to jack up the ceiling of the cellar to keep the floor above from collapsing. They also installed some subfloor drains and finished by encapsulating the whole area in CleanSpace vapor barrier.
