A before and after look at our CarbonArmor system being installed in this basement. The homeowner noticed their walls cracking and we stepped in to help. The CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System is a state-of-the-art solution for bowing and cracking foundation walls. Using the same technology the Army Corps of Engineers developed to reinforce bomb shelters, skyscrapers, and bridges, we use CarbonArmor to stabilize your basement walls.
Homeowners in Granville, OH called because one of their basement walls was horizontally cracked and bending inward (or bowing). We sent out one of our certified inspectors, Corey Froelich, to look at the wall, take measurements, and provide a free quote for repair. The homeowners agreed, so our crew, led by foreman Camden Hammond, installed PowerBrace i-beams to prevent further inward movement. These galvanized steel beams can also be tightened over time to push the wall back into its original position.
This customer called Mid-State Basement systems with concerns for their basement. Water was coming in and the wall was starting to crack. Our crews used CarbonArmor straps to secure the walls and the WaterGuard perimeter drain system to complete this project.
Foreman Miguel Martinez and his crew installed nine PowerBrace System i-beams to stabilize these foundation walls. The PowerBrace system is designed to stabilize failing basement walls and can help straighten them over time.
